In addition to standard Modbus functionality, the Ferguson Beauregard EFM3000 EIE includes special messages for reading history and event logs, and for viewing and updating AGA 8 Gas Fraction settings for both full and gross calculation methods. It also transparently manages remote user logon and logoff to the RTU, and provides an interface to FMS Legacy.
